Having your own vacation home is perfect for luxe getaways and relaxing weekends, but have you ever thought of taking those trips out to sea? If you’ve ever considered owning a yacht, you’re in for a treat as luxury yacht brand, Argos, just recently unveiled their brand-new Gulfstream series. Full of speed, power and plenty of style, the Argos Gulfstream is the next “It” yacht to have on your maritime radar.

If you’re wondering whether an Argos yacht is the best choice for your seaside needs, research no more. Built on the Tricon Marine shipyard, Argos yachts bring complete sophistication and elegance to the yachting community, combined with power, range and the best in engineering, technology and finish. Says chairman and CEO of Tricon Marine Christos Livadas, “Argos yachts are state of the art. We simply wouldn’t want to build such a vessel anywhere else. Further, it would be impossible to build a yacht of this quality anywhere else at a comparable price to the buyer.”

Recently having completed offshore sea trials for the 92-foot Argos Gulfstream (Argos G92), Tricon Marine is pleased to announce the arrival of the brand’s new limited edition series of luxury, offshore performance yachts. During these trials, the Argos G92 proved impressive in its fuel efficiency, as it burned only 8gph at 8.5 knots, which is better than one nautical mile per minute. With a 4,000 gallon fuel capacity, the Argos G92 is ideal for long trips where filling up isn’t always convenient. In addition, the Argos G92 topped out at 27 knots, and running time was calculated at 35 hours continuous operating without refueling, making for an impressive holding power.

The tests performed were completed in 90-degree, high humidity temperatures, which suggested that on a normal day the yacht’s performance may prove to be even stronger. “We tested the Argos G92 in real-world Gulf Stream conditions off the Florida coast, in choppy seas exceeding six feet,” says Livadas. “She turned in a lively performance, exceeding the highest expectations for speed, fuel efficiency, and comfortable handling.” Co-designed by renowned hydro-engineer/marine architect Howard Apollonio and the company’s internal design team, the Argos G92 is equipped with a tri-deck layout and one of the very first hybrid hulls ever developed, making for a fantastic ride in terms of speed, range and the complete package.

Now, it wouldn’t be a luxury yacht without a fabulous interior, would it? The Argos G92 will not disappoint in that respect either, as it includes one Master SkySuite, three guest staterooms and two crew quarters. If one of the Argos G92 layouts aren’t to your liking (including master SkySuite, Sky Gallery, Sky Lounge and on-deck master stateroom options), you may choose to collaborate with Argos Senior Vice President David Adams to come up with your very own custom layout.
