Independence Day Cocktails

Drinks have the potential to make or break a party. As the Fourth of July approaches, festive party drinks will come second only to glittering fireworks displays.

 

Corzo Tequila is introducing three new specialty cocktails for at-home holiday entertaining and ideal for this weekend’s celebrations. With accents of vanilla, coffee and strawberries, the company says these cocktails are sure to be stand outs at any party. The recipes were created by mixologist Manny Hinojosa, who has won many awards for his cocktail creations and bar experience. 

 

Enjoy a safe and fun Fourth with these cocktails from Corzo:

 

 corzotoast

Corzo Toast

1 part Corzo Silver

½ part vanilla cognac

champagne

Pour ingredients into a chilled champagne glass.  Garnish with raspberries.

 

 

 corzoholly

Corzo Holly

1½ parts Corzo Reposado

¾ part fresh lime juice

1 part simple syrup

3 fresh strawberries quartered

3 fresh basil leaves

1/8 part balsamic vinegar (optional but highly recommended)

Muddle all ingredients.  Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a strawberry slice.

 

 

 snowwhite

Corzo Snow White

1½ parts Corzo Silver

½ parts coffee liqueur

1 part vanilla cognac

1½ parts heavy cream

Shake ingredients with ice and pour into a chilled rocks glass with ice.
