That is a slightly humorous, and rather bizarre, coincidence. I must say, though, that this is a beautiful place to stay. Arizona is beautiful this time of year, making it the perfect place to vacation – whether you are the president or not.

I’m not a huge traditionalist so it doesn’t bother me that Obama isn’t staying at the Biltmore. Anyway, as an avid AFM reader and a proponent of all-things local, I’m happy that Obama and McCain will probably be reading through the magazines.

I love Montelucia, but it is hard for me to believe Obama went against tradition. Oh well. He’ll have to get some gelato at the little on-site cafe.

Not so great news for the Biltmore, but awesome for Montelucia! It’s a cool place, I can see why they would want to stay there (even if it does make for an awkwayd run-in with McCain).

I was watching the news, and the line for the tickets to see the president began Monday night. People were waiting in line if you can believe that. I saw it on the nightly news! It is sad he is breaking tradition by not staying at the Biltmore resort!
