Four Seasons Scottsdale, Posh and Pet-Friendly
By Hayley • Jun 23rd, 2009 • Category: Resorts and Spas

I used to work at the Four Seasons in Toronto when I was in college. It was a posh place to work, and I learned what real service was all about and how important it was for Four Seasons to go the extra mile in every way possible.
This weekend, I was lucky enough to visit the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, no work required. And being a guest, I realized that they are still doing everything possible to make the Four Seasons name truly synonymous with luxury.
Of course I was impressed by the big things: the fabulous decor in the lobby and the guest room; the level of service in everything from check-in to check-out; and the delicious food and drink options all over the resort (you must try Talavera for dinner, and I recommend in-casita dining for breakfast, which is an amazing way to enjoy the scenery from your balcony and dine in your Four Seasons robe.)
But what I REALLY loved, were the smaller things, that go a long way in my books.
I got a puppy about four months ago and of course he is my little pride and joy, so I hate to leave him when I go away. Well, I was so happy to learn that the Four Season Scottsdale is pet-friendly. And by pet-friendly, I mean REALLY friendly. They love pets! And that make any pet-owner have a better, less stressful vacation.
My little doggie, Teddy, was very welcome there and upon arrival room service brought him a very special treat. A doggie bowl and place mat (with Fiji water, no less), a plate with his name on it in white chocolate letters for him to lick, a special baked bone treat and a brand new organic chew toy. Now THAT is service. What a hotel respects everybody’s comfort, even a dog’s, you know you are in good hands.

This was the first time I have taken my dog to a hotel, and they could not have made it easier or more fun. being a new dog owner I can safely say that a pet-friendly hotel is not something I will always look for, and the Four Seasons is certainly being smart in allowing man’s best friend to come along for the fun.
On a side note, they are offering some amazing summer deals, and honestly, its a few degrees cooler up at the resort, so its a good break from the heat of Scottsdale. Check out the deals online at http://www.fourseasons.com/scottsdale/

I couldn’t agree more. There is nothing more stressful than traveling wondering who is caring for your pets while away. So taking them with you is all the more fun. I now can add the Four Seasons to my growing list of resort hotels opening their doors to several pet-friendly accommodations.
The fact that they wrote your pup’s name on the dish just tops it all off, what a great place!
Teddy is one lucky puppy!

My children make fun of me because our dog, Harry has a carseat! I would never hear the end of it!
pet babysitters cost so much that is way cheapre to just take them with you. its so nice that these resorts understand and even welcome pets – true luxury means making your life easier and that is exactly what the four seasons is doing.
I found your blog on Google. I’ve bookmarked it and will watch out for your next blog post.
