Time for a Tahoe Vacation?
By Nichole • Feb 19th, 2009 • Category: Homes and Design
If you have ever dreamt of owning a slice of heaven in the Tahoe area, an upcoming opportunity just might be your chance.

This 3-bedroom, 3 bathroom home located in the Sierra Shores area of Lake Tahoe will be on the auction block Sunday March 8th at 2:00 p.m. Highest bidder takes all. And what comes with the final pound of the gavel?

Modern amenities like the pretty-much-standard gourmet kitchen with Viking Appliances, breakfast bar, master suite complete with steam shower and whirlpool tub, plasma TVs in every room and a location directly on Lake Tahoe’s South Shore. A built in barbecue on the lake view veranda are ideal for a gathering or kicking back with the fam.

While the home itself is stunning, the real value lies in perhaps walking away with an incredible deal and a luxurious vacation property.

No need for a plasma TV if you have a home in this area. I’m going to have to bring my checkbook with me on March 8 so I can bid on this beauty. I’ve always ALWAYS wanted a home on the Tahoe shores. I just hope there aren’t other Tahooligans out there who are thinking the same thing I am…
this is incredible! i want it.
wow, wonder how low or how HIGH this will sell for? Auctiosn really seem like the way to go these days when you are buying or selling.
What a prime location to be in, that water looks gorgeous and so much fun with all the boats! I like the style of the house too–kind of rustic and lincoln-log-ish.
This looks really familiar, it looks just like one of he HGTV dream houses!
I would absoultly love a house on Lake Tahoe!!! That has always been a dream of mine! I wonder how much this will go for???
Been going every other year for the 4th of July to meet up with friends. Having a home like this, and the scenery, would be incentive to get there more than 1 time a year . . . . .
Probably another foreclosure. The interior furnishings look very basic, must have been a second home someone could no longer afford..
Does anyone know what this went for?? Thanks for the info.
