Edgewood Tahoe Prepares For ’09 Season Opening

Here in the Southwest, the temperatures are swiftly rising as summer rates and twilight promotions begin circulating. And while the high season of Arizona comes to a close to welcome several 100 plus degree golf experiences under $100, around the country ideal golf temps are inaugurating other region’s golfing high-seasons.

Award-winning Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course will open for its 41st season on May 1, 2009 and feature newly drafted Stay & Play packages for golf enthusiasts looking to experience all that springtime has to offer in the Lake Tahoe region.  Since first opening in 1968, Edgewood has established itself as one of the premier golf courses on the West Coast, offering unparalleled views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and picturesque Lake Tahoe.  Conveniently located within blocks of the major South Lake Tahoe resorts and casinos, Edgewood will offer special packages and early season rates for its world-class course, and Edgewood’s  own exclusive lakefront lodge, Twin Pines, is available for lodging as well.

The May 2009 Edgewood Tahoe Packages include one night accommodations during the week, and two nights on weekends, as well as 18 holes of golf at one of the nation’s top courses.  Harvey’s Lake Tahoe rates for a single golfer and one night stay start at $155 for primetime tee times during the week, and $125 per golfer for twilight rates during the week, while weekend rates for two nights and one round of golf start at $289 per golfer.  The Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Hotel & Ski Resort packages start at $209 per golfer for one night’s stay and primetime round of golf midweek, twighlight rates and one night’s accommodations during the week begin at $179 per golfer, and weekend rates which include two nights and one round of golf begin at $388 per golfer.
